A piece with a story.
The Zola Kimono is a celebration of natural materials, traditional craftsmanship and the incredible things that can be created by hand.
Hand woven in Zambia by a women’s empowerment organisation, this is a piece that carries meaning far beyond what you see. Every detail has been thoughtfully made using completely natural fibres and plant-based dyes, resulting in a beautifully tactile fabric with its own subtle character and movement.
The design is intentionally simple, allowing the fabric and craftsmanship to do all the talking. Cut in an effortless kimono silhouette, it falls open naturally from the body.
The ¾ sleeves are finished with a slightly thicker hem, adding just enough weight to create a gorgeous drape and movement. Along the inner hem, delicate natural lace peeks through as the kimono moves - a little unexpected detail that makes this piece feel truly special.
Woven from a luxurious blend of cotton and bamboo, the fabric has an incredibly soft, natural feel against the skin. It is the kind of piece you can throw over bare skin on a warm summer evening, layer over your favourite dress, or pair with simple trousers for a more relaxed look.
A natural fibre. A traditional craft. A story of women, skill and possibility.
